It is actually just an old Kerker i shortened, then had ceramic coated titanium on the tail section and satin black on the header section.

Got another question for you. How hard is it to keep the wheels clean on that Ducati? I love the look of the white wheels, but I don't want to carry a rag in my back pocket all the time. I'm very tempted to paint my wheels white on the KZ.

oh Boy!!

They look really nice when clean, if you are using an o ring chain the cleaning is not too bad. Brake and road dust kinda make the wheels look an off white, which I just think is the color until I wash it then realize how cool the white is.

The dust washes off fairly easy. These wheels are super smooth though if the material is the least bit pourous cleaning would be more difficult.

Trying to figure out how to keep the kickstarter but the rearsets don't give it clearance to rotate through the kick stroke.

I want to keep the kick start.

Figured that's what you would say. My GSXR wheels are quite textured. I had a hell of a time getting that original paint off of them. I guess that I could have them powdercoated, that would smooth them considerably. I'll probably just stick with what I have.

Good work.....its nice to see another bike comming together. Do you have a cumulative weight for the bike yet, or are you going to weigh it as it sits?

200 front 218 rear.

That was before the chain, no battery, no fuel, no oil.

Dry weight 418 total.

In the shop again today, put the chain on, and found I needed to clearance the countershaft cover "one More time".

All the cypherin, and some help from you guys early on made it all fit together perfectly, especially mark who warned me of a couple tight areas around the frame, thankfully prior to powdercoating for the second time.
