Oh yes. Hopefully if it and the bearing I order show up in time, I hope to finish the rear wheel setup for good this weekend and post pics.

So how is the sprocket coupled to the aluminum plate? Are there rubber bushings in there? I'd like more pictures please... :)

So here is the breakdown. The fancy part is the carrier that mounts to the hub. The "fingers" with the 1.494" holes are for press in Ducati Cush pins. They are a bonded bushing with a pin in the center that is also a 10mm stud. I have them spaced appropriately so I can use a Suzuki SV (among other models....) rear sprocket. This is crucial because the Suzuki style sprocket is 530 chain size, and has a very large 120mm center hole/bore. This means I could push the pin locations out to the Suzuki 150mm bolt pattern, leaving enough room to not interfere with the 4" hub diameter.

Now, this is not the last part to this assembly. The last part I have to machine this weekend. It is a center carrier disc, with a flange and a center 52mm bearing. This part will carry the shear force of the chain force and allow the cush pins to absorb the shock through sprocket movement. There will be more pics this weekend and it will become more apparent.

You can see the rubber cush pin bushings in the photo with the carrier resting on top. The ring above is just a hub spacer ring that may or may not need to be used to allow for chain alignment.

So it was like Christmas today! First off, Stites has the wrong information about me......

Next, unwrapping the billet beauties revealed that the bushing holes fit perfectly and the spacing was right on!

Thanks again Scott!

So lots got done this weekend. Got the cush drive mounted, spacer for it made, clutch push rod extension made, clip ons cut, Indian head light made, headlight mount made using only a hack saw, drill press, and file, sprocket carrier disc made (mostly), and my "holy" bolt for my mom (who has passed). So here are the pics:

Headlight and mount.

Clutch push rod extension for the Ducati slave.

Cush drive mounted. Looks freakin' fantastic. Cut a .250" rear spacer for it.

Sprocket carrier disc. Need some rotary vise work done....need to contract that out.

Holy bolt..... Antique St. Christopher medal cut into the center of the stem bolt until is is flush. Will re-chrome the bolt & nut, then seal it all together.

That is it for now...time for bed.

Chrome don't get ya home, but it does give you something nice to look at while you are waiting for a tow truck..... Just got it back from a new chromer I am using. Took less than 24hrs and he only charged me $20.
