So my lazy azz didn't get out of bed in the morning and get up to the shop until like 2pm.... So I didn't get much done today. First mounted up the bars and threaded the cables. Routed my new custom line and made up my brackets for the masters. Tomorrow I am going to make up the cable stays at the master side. Also going to shorten the clip on tubes after I figure out how deep I want them in the clamps. I fitted Low Brow Customs spot mirrors using some bushings I made for the pivots.

They are to show the detail on how the master cylinder assembly bolts into the chassis just above the battery box......as for the alternator, sorry you don't like it, and here I was going to make you a setup ! :woohoo:

I think that bolt on alternator is badazz. I love bolt on belt drive things on bikes.

So a little work this weekend. I finally figured out how to build the cable stay and bracket. I think it came out good and allows a pivot to align with whatever leverage point on the levers that is needed. I get full master travel out of each side before the levers almost touch the grips. Need to replace the pivot bolt with a SS Allen and nylok nut.

I welded the the front seat pan tab into place and modded the battery box slightly. I also redid a mounting tab for the masters so that it is easier to install/remove. Lastly, I cut the seat latch off and came up with a tab that got fitted to the LH side gusset where the seat latch resided. Now my ignition switch will be there. I feathered the welds on it to try and get it to flow nicely.

That is about it, not much. It is nice the cable stuff is finally done. I am also close to mounting the tail to the seat pan and I have my insulation pad cut and fitted. I also need to come up with some material that I can use to create two small hard lines for the master's fluid cups. Thinking copper or steel. We'll see........

FWIW,
