my oil pan is 5" max from the ground.....
my seat is 26".
those are stock forks on that bike...
I cut 3" from forks and have 3-1/2" max travel in forks.

I wanted to put a deep sump on it but would only give me 2" of clearance. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Which bike are you talking about, mine and Dave's are about the same height. I went bake and forth in the set up on my bike depending on where I was going so I didn't cut my forks to get it any lower.

Hey Mark...not blasting on you or the orange / blue bike....so put me back on the christmas card list.....after looking at it....if you lowered the front it would be as low as mine...you do have a good squat in the back to get the total weight to back tire....
what does it run in the qtr mile.

APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.
