z1kzonly wrote: HI Steve! Your one of a kind! I give you a lot of credit! That Z should be an old Harley! Always find a way to keep her running! Like when I was a kid and seen the Old Guy Patch holders with Pan Heads, Sporties and old Flat Heads on my street! Always hanging and workin on them! Were I caught the bug! With a mini bike!
But, I seen this too late. I have one of those lifts i just bought last yr. I used up the red one I had with this attachment. I use for the Harley. And I had this addition to a lift I bought 15 yrs. ago. I saved and never used. It's all adjustable. Those are 1/2" course threads on these holders.
If you want you can have this. Cost a priority medium flat rate if you want it?
this is just sitting on some engine contact, bolts in front. It is a quick lift I used to put these wheels on. It lifts up the wheels enough.

Thanks Marty. That looks pretty cool. Would it work with a 4/1 V/H? The one I wanted from Dirty Dan was a $250 one but he wanted full price for it though I made him $8000 selling his SHT for him. He had three welders, three roll away tool boxes, the lift, his bike and a Vette I was selling for him when he died. It all was given away for next to nothing. Turned out he was about to go to prison and was playing me so in the end I walked away with about $2500 for my trouble. This thing was about $100 and it's all mine. B)
It should work just fine with no drama.

I'll use the GoPro on long rides only. I'll be using the SooCoo for everything else until the new one comes in. The cheaper ones have a lot more features the GoPro's don't have if you get a good one. B)

Those push rods must endure a tremendous amount of stress.

If only I had replaced the rod on 2/23/15. :pinch:

Five months later...

The original was replaced with an APE hardened steel push rod.
Should have checked it again when I had the clutch apart last year... :S

Thanks Marty. I'll be buying a wire welder soon. Looks like we'll be getting a $2000 stimulus soon so that will be one of the first things I'll do with the money. Funny how one side brings it up and the other takes credit for it. I'll hold my nose, accept it and make it go as far as I can.
Meanwhile at the digs this is how it turned out. B)
