Actually McDroid I never ever saw one of the White bikes here in Canada, only the silvery blue things which had navy and silver stripes. I have pics but they are too large and I cant post them

I will probably go with the 1981 GPZ 1100 Clone wich you see on the bike. I figure pating around 1,000$CDN and putting an additonnal 1,000$ to get everything in order. Sould do a nice bike.
Should I buy the KZ1000J for parts. Are their any suitable. Like carbs?
The parts that sre not suitable will be sold here of any interest. Ths bike is complete but in a boxe.
Thanks for all your comments. Really apprciate!

Here is the serial number: JKAKZBR10EA000565
From a quick research, this seem to be a clone.
Can someone help me to confirm this?
Tks,
Joce

The problem with checking anything on the 1100R is that they were only released in Canada (on this side of the Atlantic) and the www.zedder.com database covers models that were released in the USA and Canada (but only if they were also released in the US). However, the VIN has more digits than a European release suggesting that the bike was originally sold in Canada and not imported from Europe. Perhaps another member can help you...note that #000574 is currently for sale on eBay for an opening bid of US$7000:ohmy:
