I agree ! it's almost a given they will leak.You should split the carbs. The small rubber coated fuel Tee's are almost sure to be cracked and need replacing.

We 're aware of a process in which Teflon tape is wrapped around fuel tees to improve the seal. We have seen carbs on which it was done perform for many years with no leaks. Teflon appears to be quite resistant:to gasoline and ethanol:

I did this shrink tube trick in 2017, no leaks.Heat shrink may not survive long exposed to gasoline, especially when exposed to gasoline.
