Ok. So that photo would be the correct set. It’s actually an F6 and a K87... it’s from a listing at Z-power uk , but they are out of stock. And your buddy Marcel is out till August... I tried to get the k87 rear but even though his listing said one in stock they we out... maybe these roadmaster will be temporary if he does get more in the fall.

This was slipped under the wicker chair on the porch. Must have been yesterday and I missed it... could not find a plastic to replace the broken one but thanks to Scirocco I was on the look out for an aluminum repop...

That tire was a monster on the rain grooves on the fwy. The k87 went away fast. I went with a K81 front and a Chin Shin in the back. It lasted longer and was a lot cheaper.Never bought another dunlop rear tire again. The K81 was supposed to be the street tire to have at the time. 100 MPH sweeper in Malibu CYN and the tight twisties were a blast with that front tire :woohoo:

I hope you did touch it... Providence is key to value... Sorry by the time I had bought it, it had already been repainted... I’m gonna do some sanding on the rear duck tail and see if I find a color under the repaint

Yes, that is correct. The F6 has a circular pattern.

That F6 tread looks like my AVON speedmaster in the front of my chop.hope that helps.will check it tonight.

Amazing you mention this... this bike has a K81 tt100 on the front and a Chin Shin on the rear... must have been to “must have” combination at one point... this bike also had a 16” rim laced to the drum brake hub... notice how the spokes are laced...

hi i have been reading these posts on the last photo of the 16 inch wheel is that a tubelless valve in the wheel ,i have heard you can convert spoaked wheels to run with out a tube , thanks

Dave actually I don’t know, I didn’t build the wheel. My guess is it a tube. I just had one installed in my Ltd mag and it looks to be the same family. I don’t know if there is any pros to not running a tube. But I do know of cons to not. One is the tubeless rim is different than the tube rim. On the tubeless rim there is a second bead inboard that is designed to retain the tire in place if pressure get low. A tube rim doesn’t have that feature and without it you run the risk of tossing the tire off the rim if pressure gets low. All tires marked tubeless can be run with tubes. So your not limiting your tire selection.

Master cylinder rebuilt today... small item to accomplish and not going to bore everyone with little achievements. This one though I had to share. In the manual it’s recommends using tool 57001-132. No luck finding it so by reading the assembly procedures I figured out what it is and how it used... I started looking around and found a substitute. A caulk tube nozzle cut off at the cartridge. That was just a tad big. I noticed several rings about a 1/2” up from the open end, so I cut the nozzle off at the ring closest to the open end. Works awesome to install the primary cup. It pushed it into the bore square with minor pressure. Then put the piston stopper on the piston and slid the nozzle over the end of the piston and against the stopper. Piston slid in as easy as the primary cup. Then with the snap ring pliers I put the snap ring in the bore and used the nozzle to push it, the stopper, and piston into place and with a nice click I heard the snap ring land in the groove. Unfortunately the ID of the nozzle was to small to fit over the dust boot.






I used this to install the dust boot retaining ring
