Although I like my Delkovic SS header, be prepared for it to turn yellow within 10 minutes of run time. It is a constant battle to keep it shiny to the point that I just gave up. I prefer to ride my bike over working on it all of the time.
It does still seem a bit on the lean side.. I do need to order some larger pilot jets, (I already replaced the main jets) since it runs in the pilot jet range more than in the main jet range of operation. This pic was taken before I re-jetted the mains to the # 125 Mikuni "racing" jets. (from memory last spring)
The stock exhaust is double walled.

If I keep the Vance and hines I will need a baffle because there is none.
A new baffle cost as much as a new stainless exhaust.
Guess I could fab something up

. Remember.. the louder it is, the faster it seems to be. The exact opposite is actually true, but don't try telling billy-bob that. No muffler = race car. yehaw!
I made a baffle for a bike years ago. It was an extensive exercise in metal fabrication and mig welding combined with some hole saw action cutting out metal disks and welding them all up to a piece of 3/4" emt with a bunch of holes drilled in it. It looks to me like you will have no problem with the welding and grinding. I kinda get into the fabrication thing at times.
Check out the bead around the end of the silencer.

Nothing I built is ever really finished, I. Like Lowes "never stop improving ".
I need to get some pictures in the sun to show the prisum metallic.
I ended up deciding on stripes that looked somewhat factory that I cut in dead black 3m vinyl, so if I get tired of it I can just peel it off.
I still want to add the easy clutch kit if z1 ever gets it in stock again.
I still might go with a stainless exhaust, not sure still.
I'm pretty happy with everything else.
Not much I would change.
This is the dream bike I envisioned most of my life and it cost less than a 1/4 of what my ducati 1098s cost me.
