Theres a guy on the turbo site that sells them . He has two different styled for different years they come in silver and black . Bought a set off him the quality is excellent . Just like siock . Forget how much they were . I can find out if you want . They weren't that much . They are made out of aluminum I think . He also sells the sticker kits for the forks and all the safety stickers .

Hey Guys, been a while since I posted sorry about that! Life got in the way and a lot happened but still been riding and wrenching as time allows. Here is a brief wrap up of what has been done so far while I've been away.

1. Did some aesthetic work on the heads and sanded/fiiled the fins and some raised section on the cam cover to expose the aluminum
2. Got the customer fender eliminator that I designed and was professionally built from my buddy in, he made me two identical copies in case I ever need a second one!
3. Adjusted steering stem nut that was causing nasty headshake and fixed that, rides like a dream now!
4. Got in my replacement tail light today and going to start that process of getting installed, will need help on getting it wired as it is meant for a 1998- 2002 Ninja ZX6R

Some pics now:

Ok so surprisingly enough even though it was only 9am my time my tail light showed up, now I have a few questions and was hoping for a bit of insight here. This tail light is meant for a 1998-2008 Ninja ZR73, ZX6R, ZX9R, ZX600 or ZZR600 and has connectors for it. It also came with two resistors. There are ZERO directions included with these, so my questions are fairly straight forward I hope. Which direction do the resistors go in (does it even matter), and how would I wire in the turn signals when there are only two cables compared to the 4 that came off of my bike? I figure I have some wiring work ahead of me, on my bike I already pinned out which wire is what and have the + and - turn signal wires for left and right figured out, brake light wire, and running light and ground. Those will be easy enough to figure out I think, on the new tail light there is white, red and black. Black will be ground, red will be constant hot and white will be switched hot I think? Any input and suggestions would be appreciated. To clarify, there are 2 wires for each turn signal, + and - if that helps. Now for some pics to help explain what I am seeing:

Holding the light up to see how it will look, liking it a lot but will likely trim off the two lower mounting tabs to clean up the look and smooth it out, thoughts?

Well yesterday was very productive and got everything installed! A few notes before some pics though, I am not all together pleased with the license plate, it comes too close on heavy bottom out bumps to hitting the rear tire so it is going to be relocated eventually probably this off season but I just have to figure out how and where :(
Otherwise the install went very well and came out so clean I love it! The relay will need to be ordered as the lights even with the resistors still flash too fast but that should be an easy fix. All together though it is super bright and really a nice unit! Used some grommets when routing wiring through the pieces and came out slick. Everything was soldered and heat shrink tubing applied to all connections and I even heat shrinked the resistors so they don't come apart too. :iconclap:
