C5 Igniitons makes an optical ignition for the KZ750 and specifically claim, "wakes up this engine!" I bought one for my project. I'd be keen to see if the dyno showed a difference. Are you running suppression plug wires? IIRC regular plug wires mess with electronic ignitions and other electronics.

Got the pinstripe on the tank. Wasn't sure but I think it turned out good. Now if the 2 feet of snow on the ground would melt...
