Going a bit slower than I wanted, I should have everything I need to have it running decent except for the obligatory odd part here and there. I still need to rebuild the carbs, The choke collar on #4 is busted and the plunger doesn't move freely so i gotta figure out what the issue is there. The valves were within spec so i didn't have to mess around there. Compression is a bit on the low side but consistent so I'm hoping with some regular running it will come up a bit. I put on the new intake boots, the old ones were loose and kind of mangled. I have to seat the airbox boots correctly. Finish retrofitting the KZP speedometer then figure out something for blinkers, the LR didn't match the others and the Chinese ones I ordered don't fit right. Then I have to mount the windshield i picked up from the local classifieds for $15 and we should be good to go.
Oh yeah, fit the new seat cover.

The speedo remounted, I swapped the guts with help from Steve's write up. The face is slightly off center but I'm happy with it for now.

I thought about that but I'm only going to be using one for the petcock. The factory illustration makes no sense at all the inner ones show facing downwards.

You shouldn't be bothered by a little rain with that windshield. I can hide behind mine but my arms get wet.
Tach and speedo looks good. I'm pulling mine off again. Both went hay wire. First the speedo, then the Tach.
I didn't switch the face plate on the speedo like I did the Tach. It looks like the needles are loose on their pins. We'll see. I should be able to buy those new ones in a week or two. If I do, I'll sell these for parts or not working. I'll try to get these working if I can but I'm tired of Fing with them.
