I wouldn't try to bend the lever. Looks like the master cylinder could be raised.

Nice project. in this photo it looks like the brake pedal is angled up quite high. I'm not sure what kind of adjustability you have on that, but you may need to revisit it. All the rearsets i have ever ridden the brake pedal is below the foot peg quite a bit. Keep up the progress.

The bike these came off had a perimeter frame where the angle was the other way (so rotate the assembly in yer head clockwise )

Can I convince you to paint it flat black?

More progress on bike, been doing little misc. painting and figuring out where electronics are going to go, due to how far out the powdercoater is currently.

Current gauge setup, will know once I get everything hooked up whether the aftermarket gauges will work with existing electronic pickups for tach & speedo

Got the seat back from the upholster, I think it turned out pretty good and should be pretty comfortable.

Reusing the battery case holder tabs and adding a tab on the loop to bolt it down

More progress finally got the parts back from the powdercoater. Can't find the pin for shaft so new one on the way, so hopefully be able to see how the bike will actually sit but pleased with the overall look.

Can't seem to find the perfect spot the battery, let me know your thoughts. I have box for it but may need to make my own cause the one I got is too big to fit the spaces I am looking at.
Between swing arm and frame? seems to travel fine without catching
[IMG

On the swing arm?
[IMG

Underneath the swingarm?
[IMG

On the frame somehow? Doesn't quite fit in space between the bars
[IMG

Here the battery box about 1/3 bigger, may have to build my own

I attached my battery up under the seat using a bracket. It's a gel battery so laying it down is not an issue. Looking good so far. The engines in these shaft bikes are generally (in my experience) less abused than in other bikes due to the highway miles so not surprised on the leakdown test. :)

I have thought about it might attach and see how it looks, trying to be discrete with it, but push come to shove it would be an easy location

Yeah you just create kind of a "basket" to sit it in. I'm a fan of using that bbq grill mesh, bends easy, paints easy and super strong. If you look at my sig pic you can barely notice it, just hanging slightly lower than the frame.

If you look in the last pic I have a battery box for it, that needs modified to be smaller but would probably be what I use

This looks ace, keep up the good work. :)

For the battery box on mine I made a bracket to hold the battery on it's side under the seat. Worked well for me.
