About to put in some new front bearings. Seems that the balls were done. I guess I have to pound out the old ones? They seem really stuck in there.

dont forget to remove the circlip if you haven't already. I have made that mistake before.

It might also help to soak the joint between the wheel and outer bearing race with Kroil for a couple days to break any corrosion. Ed

Kawasaki calls it a Snap Ring, 43.5 mm, used on 150 Kawasaki models.
Supposedly an "active" part that's still available at Kawasaki dealerships

funny I didnt see this anywhere when I took it apart. Also dont see it in my diagram in the manual. Where does this clip go and what does it do?

Perhaps not using a genuine Kawasaki Service Manual for the model at hand.

May help to view the diagram at kawaski.com which does include the clip.

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.

Oh ok ya. I was looking up near the frame for the clip. I havent done anything to the wheel assembly.

are you talking about the steering head bearings? They can be kinda hard to get out but don't be afraid to get tough on them. The race on the stem is the worst one IMO.
