If it helps, due to short width of FATBARS, only had to fab a fluid reservoir brace off the head light arm mount.... Not a big deal really...

i had the chance to buy a 78 z1r frame a while for $300 with a title,but at the time i figured id have a small fortune into it just to make roller.There is some minor differences with the sidecover mounting but not an issue. The major difference is in the backend where the tail section mounts and seat latches plus the seat rail mounts.
i guess ill wait and see if my kawasaki ad on craigs list gets any bites! :laugh:

Interesting you mentioned this now....
I was just at Autozone this weekend and up behind the counter they had the sample rack of Auto-meter brand in various sizes... Some small enough to fit into a KZ cup.
Kozo now makes a round digital meter as well... One side Speedo, the other cup Tach with indicators....
