Yeah, I'm using all the Z1R body. The big issue with the dash is haveing no speedometer, no drive for it. Been looking at using an programable speedometer and haveing it modified to look like the original. I'm open to sugestions on this one.

There is some minor differences with the sidecover mounting but not an issue. The major difference is in the backend where the tail section mounts and seat latches plus the seat rail mounts.

You'll be fine...

If it helps, due to short width of FATBARS, only had to fab a fluid reservoir brace off the head light arm mount.... Not a big deal really...

Thanks for the comments. Means a lot comming from the designers of beautiful, well thought out machines. This thing is going to get ridden fairly hard so alot of parts to get sent out for treatment, Pearson getting trans, clutch basket, and crank. Larrycavan getting head. I also need to find a powdercoater to do the frame, got a local guy that doe's me a good job but he can't do the frame. I was hoping to have this on the road by june but there is a lot of work yet to do. I see me taking a weeks vacation on this thing. Stay tuned, I will be reporting progress as I get it done.

Interesting you mentioned this now....
I was just at Autozone this weekend and up behind the counter they had the sample rack of Auto-meter brand in various sizes... Some small enough to fit into a KZ cup.

Kozo now makes a round digital meter as well... One side Speedo, the other cup Tach with indicators....

Here's some links I found in my search.... Maybe will give you some ideas. Various sizes on operations...

Dakota Digital... Nice but $$$

I have looked at a lot of these and the autometer one seems closest to maybe on size. Problem is I would need to find someone who can silk screen or do a vinyl sticker to match the Z1R's apearance to maintain the theme I'm after. I don't mind redoing under the dash to hold them so long as it appears factory up top.
