Love your ideas Les . Gonna be an interesting build by the time it runs . keep up the good work .

PS If you work 20 and take 1 day off its time you had a week to yourself . Dont know how you do it .

Done 12 today, 8 tomorrow and thur, 12's the rest of the week. We have 4 more openings in our die shop and there is no one to be had. They are just flat killing us. Feast or fammin I guess but it's been this way for almost 2 yrs. I had to roll 38 hrs of vacation over in Jan. I'm flat ass taking it this yr! I just got home and it's hard to get to the shop, I'm tired but I will. I've got a target of June and that will be here before I know it.

Les , grab it while you can. I,ve worked 19 out of 21 and it aint easy but needs must right now. You will enjoy your down time even more. fair play to you.

I must say you do nice work and your project is going very nice. I don't have any personal experience with anodizing anything welded but they say 5356 tig rod can be. May want to call an anodizer and check with them.

Thanks on the compliment. Haven't called an anodizer yet but may concider it. Have quite a few pcs. I'm going to do. I've been looking at the diy anodizing kits out there and may do it. There is a lot of r.c. toys around here to get work for so it might pay for itself.

Here's the tree, still have to put the clamp bolts in and split it to allow clamping.

Started mocking up faring and it interferes with the lower tree, I'm either going to have to trim the faring or move the gauge cluster farther forward.

But it's still progress:woohoo:
