Taking a break so I'll post progress pics. Need to mount the center bullet then the collector. I'm real happy with this part of the work, turned out better than I would have believed:woohoo:

porchev914 , I considered learning to paint but I just have too many areas I want to improve in that I just can't justify learning curve. I'll just go to work and pay for that part of my projects. But tool and die is my trade and welding is just part of it so I'm able to use it at home for just such things. I look at your work and think WOW, never considered the reverse, not bragging but just daily routine for me, guess I never really thought about it.

I think it's natural to take for granted the things we know how to do, and be facinated or impressed by the work we can't do. I am not especially gifted, but I'm learning loads on my projects :woohoo:

Chris, I made all the flanges and spigots, the prebent tubing came from cone engineering. I will say the biggest challenge was the collector. Between the 1 and 2 head pipes was a bear getting at to weld.
