Ewwwwww, DANG this thing is cool! Nice work! Those foot-peg plates are TRICK! What brand are the rear-sets?
Again, nice work here.

Killer looking project 550!
The long wire run looked cool, but functionally, you want to shorten the wires as much as possible and minimize parallel wire runs, so going back to the stock location will probably run better.
Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see it finished!

It is a willingness to take the chance to maybe f*ck (that better?)up something expensive, and try again![/color]
my own way of thinking, not to be confused with logic. LOL

Thanks for the comments guys
the rearsets are vortex adjustables with the race pegs.
picked them up fairly cheap ( I think I payed 80)
The mounting plates were pretty straightforward, did them both in two hours.
Here is a couple pics with where I have test fit 2 of my new SS exhaust header pipes.

since I didn't have a sheetmetal bender here at the house I decided to go a different route for forming my tail cowling.
I'm gonna glass over the wire frame and then trim the glass to fit.
this was so much eaiser to mock up, wish I would of thought of this 5 months ago.

did some more work.
got the engine back in.
almost grabbed my gun and put it out of my misery I got so pissed.
had it in first try, only lacking a 1/4" to lining up all the holes.
Did not notice one of the motor mounts had got a little bent upon removal
started fighting with it and managed to get it wedged in there
2 fucking hours and a smashed finger later it is in, WOOT.
starting to come together, maybe mockup the exhaust tomorrow.

Your monoshock.....the dog bones hook to the frame or the swingarm? Looks like the 2 holes that are close to each other on the shock rocker are connected to the swingarm and the dog bones, is this correct? What year shock/swing arm?
