Its nice that you boys like my little project.
OK.
Since last time I have received some new carbon:
And since this carbon is more "goldish" I of course have to make new headlight ears.
Now its sanding and 2pack UV resistant varnish that is left to do.
And i have almost done the footrests mounts.
Its sanding and 2 pack UV varnish left to do here as well.

KZ700A1: Thanks.
The square head light society...
Before I do the varnish on the carbon parts I need to check that the part fits.
Making a template for the adapter behind the foot rester adapter... This is because of the Busa swing is much wider, so I need more space then original.
Also this will strengthen the whole construction.
And finally, I have decided to use a square headlight!
I think square suits better the old style, so I will try to "take" back the lines to the 80`S again with a sqaure headlight.
Also a little demonstration on the carbon:
This is a weight just over 3kg.

With this new carbon the golden threads are synthetic, so the manufacturer says that its stronger then ordinary carbon.
And they are a nightmare to cut...

Nice work Roy.
I got my head back from Larry Cavanaugh, so i will start the prebuild clearance tests today.
That sounds really nice!
After what I understand MR Cavanaugh really knows what he are doing. :woohoo:
In situations like that I really would like to be living closer to the big markets and shops "over there", in Canada or US.
