When I was running crews I watched everyone like a hawk. I didn't trust anyone's judgement. I was known to be an asshole and liked it. This is why I will be AGAIN. I got the work done with minimal mistakes. Leadman, foreman, superintendent, it was the same and the employees would fight at every turn. I thought I had left it all behind for good. I guess not.

That sucks! also 136 bucks and you had to pick it up.

We bought Shinko SR777 whitewalls for the wife's bike thru Motorcycle super store and paid around 210 delivered for the pair.

Of course we bought them early this year and didn't find out that the rear tire was out of round until a week after the 60 day return policy was over.
But she talked to a very nice service rep. on the phone and we got a the replacement tire for 81.00 delivered and it arrived 2 days later.

The dates on the tires showed them to be around 6 months old

It was $136 for the pair. Because it was a May 5th holiday they were $5 more off. Still too cheap. I expected to pay $150 and should have looked. Now I have to ride 60 miles one way in the WIND to get the right tire. If they don't make me happy, I'll buy online from one of the many suppliers out there and I won't have to pay the Lib fees and taxes in this state.
Along with that what bothers me is I retired because of the stress I had to deal with from moron employees, civil agencies and suppliers. Doing the work was easy even fun, dealing with the rest was hard on my health. All I want to do is have a few small projects, visit my grandchildren then point my headlight and RIDE.:woohoo: Life is too short for the rest of that crap.

136 for the pair is excellent

We had the local Yami shop sell and mount some dunlops for her bike last year and it cost over 500

Bought a nice tire mounting set up this year and did both our bikes.

I wish we had a place like that around here,

They offer free shipping over $100. www.chaparral-racing.com/product/shinko-...tire/369-874170.aspx
They exchanged the tire for the same price I paid for the smaller tire. It's convenient to stop there and get them. I'm still a little pissed though.

It's rubbing a little. I expected that. Gotta move it over a touch.
