I'm here to apologize for some statements I said about a week ago or so I'm not sure exactly when.  It happened during a blackout of mine.  I am bipolar schizophrenic.  In fact I'm very much embarrassed to say this but I tried to kill myself two night ago.  I didn't kill myself, and the next day I actually felt better than I had in a while.  Unfortunately a wellness call was placed and the police came and took me for a 24 hour wellness check.  Unfortunately the hospital was out of beds so I had to spend the night in County Jail.  It's been an awful few weeks for me, and again I'd like to apologize.  I've been alerted I'm on zero tolerance, so you won't see any "funny business" from me.  I hope yall take my apology and are still willing to help me with my 81 KZ440A LTD.  Because I need it bad.

Carry the courage it took to post your apology and explanation through to your everyday life and things will work out for you.

Like Warren said above, you showed great courage in speaking about your condition and with your apology.  You have to be a little crazy to A) be a biker and to ride these old Kawasaki rocket ships so you are amongst friends here!  The  whole world is "bat-shit" crazy now too !

Uhh, guys? The person who started this thread was permabanned from the site like six months ago.

Nerdy admin have obviously chosen to give the guy a break, maybe the members should too !

What I said was not about giving him a break. (I interacted with Steve when he was here - he seemed okay.) It was about how you're not going to have a conversation with someone who is no longer on the forum, so it's kind of pointless to respond to him in an old thread.

And it turns out I misremembered and was wrong anyway - must have mixed Steve up with someone else who was banned around that time. (The other guy created an account, got banned, tried to create new accounts to rejoin, got banned again, etc.)
