Z1Kzonly. That looks really nice. Does the gloss fade drying?

Good quality Dupont chroma-one is fuel resistant.
Not sure of this new cheap stuff?
I should have sprayed an extra test piece. To do a gas test on it. Because I am actually thinking of painting a set of stock 26mm carb bodies black.
But I sprayed this poor bike's frame and black parts, still sitting, 20 years ago with Dupont single stage. That's when I got hooked on the single stage paint.
That's my ugly mug in the reflection on the frame gusset.
Next batch of black I'll do a small part to test gas with.

Hey Matt, Yes! Stuff stays shiny, it can even be wet sanded and buffed just like clear coat.
Can handle it and wax it after 8 hours.

Urethane paint is pretty good in that regard.  Far better than acrylic enamel for example.  The older formula urethanes were really good but the newer low VOC stuff doesn't seem nearly as durable.

Funnily enough, I've painted tons of poly U, but never on anything that needed fuel resistance, Make sure it has a good UV rating as well, I've seen all sorts of "heavy duty" paints fade or fog badly with sun exposure. Marine urethanes are particularly good as far as UV ratings go..
