Sanded the hinge area before bed. Going to OR for the paint after I install my new carb holders. The turn signal lens fell off the other box after the accident so I ordered some HD NOS ones. I hope they fit, if not,'I'll fit some more modern LED's.

Got the color on last night. Got too dark to see on the porch, a few runs. A little wet sanding with 320 paper and more paint. Little blemishes here and there but good enough for now. I got my paw prints on it too.

Yeah, I just had to handle them. Wet sanded with #320 and gave them another coat. Had a reaction on one box lid. I'll put them on and touch it up later.Still have to work up some new guards. I had to extend the other ones because the boxes are wider than the KZP boxes. I didn't like how they turned out so I'll do it differently this time.

Sanded and painted the top of one box. Got another reaction. Too humid. F it, I put them on and came to my daughter's for the ride. I'll let the paint cure for a week or two. If I were doing them for someone else, I'd have taken a lot more time on them. Good enough for me right now.

I used silicon on the light and don't trust it yet. The turn signals are wrong but they'll work until I can get some modern LED units for them. All the lights are LED's.

Bruce was right. It didn't hold. I've been letting a woman I know use the cabin for a week until she could move into her new place. It's been a month. She has a goat named Jack. He likes to get on cars and got on Bossie. I chased him off and didn't notice the damage until I got home. She joked he likes to get on things and I told her I will be having lamb chops if he did it again.
I repaired it but it's time for them to GO

I like animals (other people's) but she has 5 dogs and this goat.

She had the place al ghettoed. The stuff on the front porch is gone now and she was supposed to be gone today. Still there.
I knew better.
