Ginger bread

Always disliked the open area and exposed cables and such benieth the head light. When they came out with the emblem covering all that crap, I wanted one. Had my eye on this one and others on eBay for a year. The guy lowered the price 30% but raised the shipping cost, so it was the same price. It's off a KZ 1100 and I knew someone would scoop it up so I bought it. Something for me. Made my own bracket and had it on in an hour. $17 and change. I like it.

Good move Steve.
That is the one ugly spot on KZs I could never understand that the factory let slide.
I went with custom trees from my Good friend Les Holt at PDM and problem solved :P

Nice improvement.

That area didn't look too bad on the early KZ650 (see 1st image below), but Kawasaki cleaned it up on the later KZ650 models by adding a similar name plate bracket (2nd image). Ed

It just looked naked to me. It does dress up the 650 tree too. Something more to keep polished.

You could add a 57 Chevy tailfin and tail light to the duck tail and really be styling

One of our members painted his calipers with red anodized paint. Looked good so I decided to try it in blue. Too cheesy?
Thinking on doing the oil cooler too. B)
