This company shows different grades of rouge for arious metals while color is isnt as important as the compound seems tripoli and different grades of aluminum oxide then there is a synthetic and true jewelers rouge

while most people I think describe them by color it apears the tripoli is dark and aluminum oxide is white while the synthetic is blue There seem to be different grades of white and other grades for multi purpose but from what I have seen
harbor freight caswels etc... most use these colors in general while I am sure someine will have a
New Ultra Fine that comes in Black purple or pink thats touted the best
in general the polishing ultra fine is generally white from what i have seen

BEEN POLISHING OVER 30YRS MATCHLESS WHITE BEST FINAL. PARAFFIN BASE NOT WATER THAT'S DIFF IN SHINE N DURABILITY
