Please let me know if anybody knows of a decent MKII tank for sale. Man, I'm sick to my stomach over this one.... :sick:

I can easily drill the side covers (can even change location if wanted) and if the new tank still has the emblem mounts exposed, I can use the factory emblems there.
The decals can be added and cleared over so they'd be smooth...which is better??

Is your tank rusting too?
I think I'm lucky as far as matching goes....the paint isn't very old and the same painter will be painting it. He also has the original tank and side covers to work from. Hopefully it will match up and look OK.

Yeah I have made several JB weld repairs that are holding so far. mine isnt so much the color as the process on matching I spent way too much time with limited knowledge on painting a tricoat. I used an unorthodox technique that i dint know if I can duplicate. the graphics were a relearning curve that if I redone I would probably screw up or not acheive the same result lol
