Add Nameplates To New Paint?

i realy like the small MK!! on the side cover too. what is the letters were the same silver color as the current graphics? if the Kawasaki overlapped the silver ribbon, u could just outline the letters in black so there ledgable, or they could be blue?

My price was about 1.30 on the last set of decals he made me (retail 23.00) he made me 3 superman logos about 2ft wide for 5.00 I pay the wholesale price for the vinyl If its real complicated might cost you 10.00 dont talk price with him unless you want yo pay retail

Man, I forgot you mentioned that earlier. Duh! Thanks again for the help. I'll let the painter know that we have a source for decals if that's the way we decide to go. Do you think he could do the black / white / chrome type of lettering like the actual emblems?



A painted logo is certainly an option and could be any combination of the colors already on the tank so it would match really well. The painter is real good at mocking things up so we can decide what looks best. I hope to hear from him again soon...

I would havr to think he could rumor has it the new printer/cutter was ove 50k he does wraps for bush series race cars so I have to think he could do whatever we need he is a little hard to describe an idea to but if you show him a pic he catches on a little quicker lol (I been hinting at wanting his job lol)

I gave my painter the sign shop info....not sure if he called or not but he's still "working on it". In the meantime, I found the original style decals I was looking for. Redline cycle has them and I swear I looked there before?? Oh well, not sure if they're new or if I just missed them but here they are......

Jim at Redline is willing to have repro MKII side cover decals made for me, so I think that's the direction I'll be taking. It will have stock looking badge decals on the tank and side covers. They will be carefully placed so they don't overlap any of the silver paint and will be cleared over.

This pic looks good. Personally, I would go with the badges as they are placed in this
picture that you posted. Looks awesome.

took an original emblem and that pic to my guy at the graphics shop he is supposed to make me a sheet of them after the holidays I originally told him I wanted 50 of them but he told me its a 2 step process cant print on chrome so I will settle for 10.

If ya want a set I will let you know when I get them (if they are as slick as those)

As far as decal placement, the tank decals will go where the stock badges were. The side cover badges I'm not sure about....they look good in the stock location but I might like them better if moved slightly forward and up so they do not overlap the graphics. I'll decide when I get the actual decals and can see how it looks both ways. Redline said it will take 2-3 weeks so it will be another week or 2.

will do the semi free stuff takes a little longer to get him motivated to do lol
