Not to mention a little more flash. If people are looking maybe they see me on the road and don't run me over. As you can see the bike is also loud so they also hear me as well. Its a good thing that we don't have noise ordinances in my area.

If any one has suggestions the would be great.
Also I can't quite get the fender trimmed just right. I am trying to get a shorty look. At worst case I might get a fiber glass one.
Most of my efforts have moved to a valve clearance issue with my Police 1000 right now. The exhaust valves are a little over spec(and all very close but) and the intake valves are almost no gap. My smallest feeler wont fit(.038mm). Has anyone had this situation and WHY?
I ask because I get valve noise from idle to about 3500rpms then the noise goes away. Otherwise the bike runs like a raped ape. Just scared I will do damage.
If I get no responses I will post in the Engine section at a later date.

I never adjusted valves on a KZ, but on a dirtbike I remove the shim, measure then subtract the clearance. That should get you in the ball park for the correct shim.
