If you wanted to hide them just paint them black. They should hide pretty good with the black frame and engine.

In my experience, it's the dumbest things that ruin something...Murphy's Law if you will. For instance, someone may just knock your bike over, or maybe you slip while backing it up, etc.

I've had the same clutch lever on one of my KX's for 2 years, I can't even count how many crashes I've had. Fricking triangle stand wasn't in all the way, bike fell and snapped the lever. :pinch:

Thanks for all the replies. I think for the safety reasons I will keep the case savers. The idea to paint black is probably be the route, but not till the snow flies!
Here is a picture of my bikes, They are all itching to be ridden!!!!

Nice stable you have there.Rage has a nice bike to. Picked up a 1980 kz1000 st last summer 2400 orig miles sat in a garage for 27 years great cond. Collected some parts over the past year i will start working on it next week .
