Find a painter in your area that can spray House of Kolor paint.
There should be a paint that is close to that in their lineup.
Look at the paint samples in sunlight. Pay attention to the color shift at different angles.

Awesome! Youve been super helpful and I appreciate. To paint and pinstripe a tank, what do you consider a good price, using House of Kolor paint?

Yes. It's a K&L petcock, so the quality should be fine. The K&L catalog lists it for a bunch of Suzukis from the early 80s.
Alternatively, maybe try the KZ1000P police bike as the bolt-hole spacing might be 44m >> 51023-1039 on the earlier models & 51023-1375 on the later P21-P24 models >> new are listed at Partzilla w pic. The Kawasaki petcocks might be expensive, though. Avoid made in china. if a new one costs $25 or $30, it's chinese. I wouldn't risk made in china on a fuel valve. Fire!
Here's the Dr. Suzuki topic I remember from years ago, but the pics are gone.

It's not an easy paint to spray.
They have to know what they are doing.
Kandies can be finicky and expensive, but the look can be amazing.
Just paint and materials can run close to $400.
Look at a paint sample in the sunlight for final choice..do not trust any computer monitor or phone screen.

You'll have to get an estimate from your painter.

Possibly...get a quote
Seems like a place in NYC sells and shoots House of Kolor. Will call them on Monday and try not to get extorted.

The KZ1000 one is just about as expensive as a pingel. But the Pingel has a OFF option which I have always wanted. Its manual.

This may be the DUMBEST question in the universe (Im more cerebral and terrible at math, etc) but what is this width in MM: 44? 46? 55? Trying to get the bolt patter spacing for the pingel or potential KZ1000 police replacement. Thats an 6ft measure tape in inches held up to the bottom of the petcock. Its a lil over 1.5 inches, closer to 1.75 I think. So 44?By DanMadBoy: ... I guess you mean this one: www.z1enterprises.com/petcock-vacuum-suzuki.html
