BTW, I always balanced the front tire. I hate watching the front end hop. The Dunlop K 181 would hop no matter what I did. I put in all Balls bearings front and rear, no more hop.

Welded the mount, baffle and tightened the steering head. I found the clip came off the master link on the chain. It has a press on plate so it wasn't coming off. I have extra links and clips. Always something to do. :dry:

Looks good Steve. I'll be curious to see how the weld holds up with exhaust heating and cooling there. Secondarily you could weld a tang on the inside of that baffle and tap a bolt to the tang and through the pipe. Happy New Year! R

Next time I'll check the balance of the rim first. I had six on the other tire, now I have two and one next to the stem. :ohmy:

I did that on my second set and it did not help. The problem are the tires neven tho they have the mark on them.
