If I'm not mistaken gregz had a 1000 tank that had a similar crack in it as well.

The Z1 tank on my ltd has a similar crack (top side of the tank, in the back) I brazed my crack, greg had his welded, no idea why they would develop cracks though
my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
