Me either. I've come up with another design that won't involve drilling holes in the frame.
It would use the front engine mount and the mounting tab located on the frame under the engine side cases. A flat pc of plate could be cut that follows the frame between those two points. Basically in a "C" shape. The pegs could then be mounted to the plate/bracket anywhere you felt was comfortable. I think 1/4 steel plate about 1 1/4 inches wide would do fine. Wider the better. I only said 1 1/4 because that's how wide those tabs on the frame are.

Look at the clamps on my pegs. You might get some ideas.

Yes, I thought about using clamps like that around the frame below the front engine mounts. And they would probably work fine using standard length pegs. Ad a 4-5 inch extension to that peg and now that clamp would have to stay in place with 8-9 inches of leverage on it. I'm not sure you could get it tight enough to not slip around on the frame. Maybe if the clamp was one of those with two bolts going through it / it would hold better. ???

They have two pinch rings that dig into the bar or frame. I'll get pics later today.
