Now that I've added metric threading to my lathe I'm in favor of making new stems :P

with all the set up and machine time to machine a new stem with a manual machine,as long as there are stems to remove from factory triples i think i will go that route my self :laugh: .

quicker and cheaper.

Looks like I should have enough clearance, not sure what the installed height is after bearings are installed but I'm going to buy the conversion bearings and see If it's a direct swap,(we won't know if we don't try!) if not ill send it out.

I skipped out on the swingarm it was in rough shape, but I got the front end for $75
That includes the triple trees, forks tubes, clip on bars and front axle and spacers. I'm looking right now for a master cylinder, break calipers, and front wheel. Just waiting to get funds to order the bearings this week sometime.
