Mark- could you PM me with what you did with your gauges? Like how you ran the ninja speedo into your stock pod, if you had to make up a custom gauge cluster mount, etc. I want to try and keep my gauges if possible without having to switch over to an electronic unit.

Hey Devin here's my build thread. It's not as radical as some of the others but it's a 650 with mono-shock and USD forks.

since i used a zx9 which also uses a cable operated speedo. all i had to do was make the zx cable fit into the kz speedo. or make the kz cable fit into the zx speedo drive at the wheel. fortunately the cable itself was the same at booth ends for both bikes. what was dif was the threaded cap at the bottom. so i just took the 2 cables apart and switch the cap ends.

Here is a pic of my top tree. All I had to do was cut the gauge mounts off of the kz tree and have them welded to my zx tree.

I have a set of forks off a 2001 Buell going onto the Kaw, so I'll have to do the same steering shaft modification. The forks I'm using have a triple tree from Accutronix, which are worth quite the big $. Luckily enough, I got the whole set up for a VERY good price ($150 for forks, front wheel, and triple trees).

I'm stuck between running my Superbike bars, or switching over to clips. Time will tell, I suppose.

Haha I know, I know Mark! Pics will come as soon as I have the bike in the shop, all ready to go. I promise! I'll start a build thread and post on here as to what it is.

PICS!!!!
I love watching these things go! I am also in the middle of a build. I'll include my build thread if you are interested.

Hope you can find something usefull. More pics will be added soon. Once I get the sprockets/chain alignment issue solved I will remove the engine for sand blasting and paint.
