i know that youve put a smile on my face numerous times big guy.

Have you solved the problem yet? Maybe if you got another bracket and just welded the piece that slides on the swingarm to the original bracket. So that the calliper could hang down but the new piece would still slide.

Right now i am considering a custom bracket and working on fitting a spare zx9 wheel on the swingarm (just waiting on some parts). I will post pics as soon as the setup ready.

How did you go with the rear brake mount?

i am not sure if tony has conquered this probelm yet.
but,what about letting it hang down on the bottom and using a longer mounting bolt to attach a brake stabilzer rod,that would attach to a welded on bracket under the arm?

Or you could weld a torque/stay arm mount on the arm & fab up a caliper bracket?

i dug this thread back up to show how i have gone about rotating the caliper back to clear dual shocks.

i currently have revboyz swingarm wheel caliper the whole mess so i could figure it out and make it work.

i cut the original bracket apart and experimented with a bottom location and a stabilizer rod.



nah,bleeder on bottom,no good place to mount stabilizer.

so i put both pieces of the bracket back in place and seen that i could cut a triangle out and weld it back in.so that it would rotate the caliper back out of the way enough that you can fit dual shocks.

i was all into it and and forgot to take take pictures through out the process .

but here is the finished product,because that's really all that matters right?







took some thinking to figure out but seems to be a pretty slick solution,imho.

new you'd figure it out! NOw im gonna go buy all the zx swingers i can get my hands on im just glad i went mono before you did way happier than i would've been

now we need to get les to cnc us some of these brackets !!!!!!!!!
