[quote="benhurmx"Very interesting, i can just use the lower one. The only thing is the problem of the pads hitting each other after a certain wear but no biggie. Very strong rear braking with 4 piston caliper. Thanks.[/quote]
I think you will have to buy a front caliper for a different bike thats why the oversize pads

Its a front or rear off of a cbr not sure which one. It's a good option for you're situation though, plus u use the front breaks more than the rear any how so mill or cut down the pads and you're set.

It is a left front caliper from a honda 600rr or f4. They even sell the pads already cut, or i can mill the pads. I will check for a used one, any good stunt site ??

Google and see if there are stunters in you're city, if not hit up the kawi forum and they shuld have a stunt section, pop in there and some on will be able to hook u up with a hand break mount, good luck in you're search,

I cut the piece off that located the caliper mount to the arm and made an adjustable rod going forward like the older bikes had.

That wont work as the rear shock will still be in the way. I thouht that a zx7 calliper mount might work as it is underslung but no it is different. I am interested to find a solution to this problem cheers farmer

Okay, I guess I missed that part. You may still be able to do that on the bottom, you'll need a caliper with the bleeder on the opposite end or bleed your brakes then mount your caliper. I would have preferred on the bottom but didn't want to mess with bleeding then remounting.

u really dont want a dual piston on the back. u may find that it is to easy to lock up in the wet weather. i dont think any bikes have them?
i was wondering if u couldnt just rotate the bracket around so the cal sits near bottom. then weld on a tab to attach a brake arm, then cut off the other end ??
the best way would be as suggested, remake the bracket, but this may be more costly.
i'm sure Leon could give u a good price. He has satisfied a lot of guys on this site.
dont take that the wrong way, but I hear that Leon can satisfy the hardest men .
the cbr 4f rear cal set up is very similar to what u have. i have an f4.
www.powersportsplus.com/parts/search/Hon...E+CALIPER/parts.html
i have a zrx12 arm on my kz. it has a bottom mount cal with top mounted bleeders. i would not worry about the bleeder orentasion though, just bleed before mounting.if u change the cal u will def have to make a new bracket since the offset, bolt spacing, and axle size may differ.
when u mount the zrx shocks (or any shocks) try your best to duplicate the doners geometry. this will insure the spring rate it close.

I have a 2 piston rear caliper, but 4 pistons would be overkill. If you know how to ride though, having an overly powerful rear brake is a non-issue. Do what ever works man

My options for now:
1- custom bracket for zx6 caliper ( Leon did terrific pivot custom bushing/spacers and shock mounts for this swingarm).
2- have an 96 zx9 wheel that might work with a zzr1200 caliper and hanger ( still experimenting).
3- The custom dual adapter caliper mount. (pricey)
As for the shocks, very hard to keep the donor geometry if i am to stay with the standard kz suspension angle. I used the zrx shocks with the standard kz mounts and they were extremely hard. But for sure they will be laid down. will send pictures.
Thanks for your help.

i did the same thing. i use the stock kz top shock mount and used a lay down bracket to move the bottom mount back. this gave me a lower rear stance. but the shocks were tooo stiff. so used the stock zrx arm bottom mount then i moved the top frame mount forward to copy the zrx geometry. it rides great now.
Adam, is that a stock brake for the triumph, or your own upgrade , it looks stock?
even the gp bikes only use single piston cals. i would think that baby is going to be touchy.
