Correct! The '77 KZ650-C1 rear wheel does require 2 bead locks (also known as rim locks). Ed

Somehow, I doubt the tire is holding air if the wheel is made for rim locks and they are not present.
I second martin_csr's advice to take the wheel back to the installer to at least verify the correct installation. You paid a professional to mount the tire, and they need to make it right.

Ok, I talked to one of the guys at a shop and he said that if the rims say TL on them, then they are tubeless. But here I see a T in front of everyhing else aswell as a TL. I am confused. Are they tubeless or tubed?

I read the thread just last night and I changed my front tire today . It is a 1982 KZ750 LTD with tubeless rims and tires on it and guess what I found ? The same thing that mjg15 found on his and it has the same numbers his has . I higher it has help up for 29 years and it should be ok but it still bothers me a little .

The 1982 KZ750 LTD drawing for tires on Kawasaki.com shows no inner tubes. If you look at earlier drawings (like 1979 and 1 of the 1980 KZ750 models) they do show tubes. Assuming your bike has stock wheels, I believe the owners manual and Kawasaki service manuals give the specs for tube or tubeless if you want to double check. Ed
