Wheel Alignment Issues

My bike seems to have a wheel alignment issue. The brake caliper and brake stay line up. So do the sprockets and chain. The swingarm is stock and has new bearings/spindle.

The problem is that the whole wheel is offset to the left about 3/4". The chain actually lightly rubs on the left sidewall of the tire, and there is tons of space on the right where the caliper is. I can't move the caliper or sprocket around b/c they wouldn;t line up with the stay or the engine sprocket anymore.

I bought the bike like this. Is it possible that I have some mismatched parts somewhere?

Everything is tight and straight, and the bike goes straight, handles normally, stops and goes properly.

What is going on? Maybe some pictures are in order...

The tire is stock size for the cast wheels (MT90/130/90 - 16).

The 78 kz 1000 of mine I had a 150 on the rim I know was too big for the rim but it missed the chain by a 1/8 to a 1/4in . Are you sure the wheel can't be moved to the right. Even tho it rides straight the wheel can be off center. seems like wrong spacing even tho the chain may appear straight. My thought

All of my spacers are correct and in the right positions as stated in the parts diagram in the repair manual.

My bike was kind of a bitsa bike when I bought it. If I had a taller cush drive/sprocket carrier and a flatter brake disc (by exactly the same amount) that would solve the problem.

I would like to buy the correct parts on ebay as all this stuff is readily available, but I don't have the money to just buy a bunch of discs, wheels, and cush drives.

Ok, some more info.

The rim is identified as an "Enkei 16 x 3.00".

It has the marking "R-1007" on it.

It is a genuine Kawasaki rim, but I did notice that the font of the Kawasaki marking is the later style, not consistent with the year of the chassis (1977).

Pictures coming.

Notice the font of the "Kawasaki" emblem on the wheel. I'm pretty sure they didn't start using that font until 1980 or so.

That from what I can see doesn't look like a 77/78 caliper it looks 80s so the wrong year rear may be the incorrect one. I will look at the 77 and take some pics if the rear rim& caliper. A wrong caliper and disc will throw it off I'll get back to you tommorrow unless someome else can shed some light on this.
