turbo z1r with underbraced stock swingarm.

im leanining more towards something like this ,milder curves i want people to have to look a little bit to notice it if that makes sense.

I just wanted to say that the z1r is a very nice ride does it have a seat belt or do you have really white knuckles after wards.very nice brace that you are building.the one post that i saw for 531blackbanshee #260631 that brace i've seen before on a old race bike that Eddie Lawson used to race.would be interested in how you made that.i am looking to get one made for my kz650c that i race.let me know thanks.take care and good luck on fabricating up one for your drag bars.

pz1morton,the swingarm you refer to is the one i built myself to house a r1 wheel and 200mm rear tire under my z1r.i scratch built it from 4130 chrome moly tubing and machined my own axle plates and pivot tube.it has been a very welcomed addition to my bike,and has meade it much more stable in the corners.

Thats exactly what i have been looking for, for awhile now but more to the one that you had pic's of on the table or was it that of RSTNICK's.something like that i could use on my race bike because then it would be period. as we have to obide by our rules and regs of the racing tech committee.i geuss i will have to find another swingarm and have someone brace it for me or have one made up in chrome moly and have the stock ends grafted on.sometimes you have to give credit where credits due. between yourself and Plumman both of you do really great work.you can't not but admire the work and time involved in both your rides.take care talk to you soon.

this is a picture someone posted on here,you can see the underbraced stock looking swingarm.the picture of the one on the drawing board,was a design i came up with to see if plummen liked it.it wasn't what he was looking for and i deleted the pic and erased the underbrace.i still have the pictures i took of it and can re-post them.
rstnicks is a period type design underbrace on a stock swingarm.
