i got it,it's a little hard to read as some of the pic washed out.we have to be careful with the bracing where the swingarm crosses the chain path.

can we start a little farther back so we dont need so much of an offset up to clear the chain?i think im gonna stick with my usual 16/40 gearing with 530 ,ill get you the dimensions of the sprockets if it helps.B)

right about wher st nicks brace has the first upright support forward of axle/shock mount is where i want mine to level off and follow the same line as swingarm and then around 6" or so forward of that is where i want it to kick up towards the pivot to clear the chain and swing around to the other side.ill get the nitrous bottle dimensions for you this weekend for the mount .i want it to come through the area behind pivot in area where mono shock would mount on sportbike arm roughly half above half below center line of swingarm/pivot.B)

i got the second fax.it is much clearer.i can also see the bracing that you are describing,as well as the mount.i believe that the bracing the way you want it is definately do-able.i will revise the drawing as soon as i get a chance and repost it.

cool,i went over it with a pen and copied it onto my machine to make sure it was readable before sending it again.i think it looks more like how a dragbike arm that spends most of its time going straight would be braced versus a canyon carver which is laying into corners at 130 all day.B)

the picture did help me get "outta the box" a little.i am so hung up on deep underbracing that when you would say "old skool bracing" i wasn't really seeing it.is the welded on bar mounts you drew satisfactory to the design?how much spacing between the adjustment holes are you thinking you want?
the frame on my dads 54 chevy truck is braced the way you want your swingarm  .
back to the drawing board :cheer: .

 ive braced a few old dumptruck frames over the years, was my drawing that bad?:S :woohoo: the diagonal bracing i drawed on there just to fill inthe spaces and give you an idea .i think a diagonal brace at each offset would be plenty,i was just trying to throw an idea together really quick for ya. i think we can keep it around 2-3" below the arm at its lowest point dont you?hold off one whe wheelie bar mounts for now,i think we will just go with your idea of the bungs welds on the braces but we'll have to see where they look right on there. okay plummen here is the new design that i worked out.on the back brace you can see the circle's that indicate where the wheelie bar will mount.
