what are you guys talking about...oh
and a little old fashioned bottle jack with a saddle top...got my two HD mini bottle jacks on c-list for 10$ and two blocks away...were ion my car 10 min after the call...anyways a little bottle jack fits right under the bike with tie downs on a bench and if the p.o has removed the c-stand...the jack fits right between the c-stand bolt towers and lifts the rear for tire r&r and and rear work by lifting the frame and engine and not needing any shock or stabilizing...just like a c-stand
here is a cave man shim and front lift 4 tie downs...you could sit on what is left of the bike..stable

In some spots I put my front tire on a piece of plywood or 1X4 to make it easier to lift on the centerstand.

I go with hocbj23 A paddock stand. Not expensive and they work very well (almost as if they were made for it!!) I bought a cheap universal one ,I think it was about e50.00.You can also get them for the front as well.
