Yes easy to wire up. Only ignition +12 Volts, ground, signal in from one coil or pic up, signal to tach.

I'm assuming you mean a resistor between the black wire from the tach and the 1-4 coil wire?  

Adding a resistor is a pretty easy thing to test, so it's worth trying.

If the problem is that the signal is too noisy, there is some chance a 20 ohm resistor might do something.  If the problem is the dwell time as loudhvx suggested, a resistor is probably not going to help and could make it worse. 

Still worth a shot.

i agree 100%, what floors me is that dynatek acted like this is the first they'd heard about the issue, then later recommended the inline resistor.
