How's everyone today! I found a 1973 kz 900, bike was rebuilt before parked, but had been parked for the last 10 + years. With power to it, key is on nothing illuminated. Will fuses only cause this?

You are going to need to clean all of the connections and probably replace your fuses. There are posts in this site posted by other members on how to do it.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

There's only one fuse on a Z1, under the right sidecover next to the turn signal flasher.

EDIT: The ignition switch pin connector is inside the headlight shell. If it's disconnected there will be no power.

EDIT 2: If it's truly a '73, it's a Z1, not a KZ900. There are differences in wiring.

Judging by the condition of the bike it would be wise to check all the connectors. A shop manual would be of help for the inevitable troubleshooting and maintenance.

If not already done, would assure good ground connection where the negative battery cable attaches to rear of engine, which might be corroded and thereby failing to provide a good ground.

The flat top caps of your carbs looks like you have bought a set smoothbores with the bike.
But i could be wrong,(blured picture). If so a good catch.
