1st pic. Blue-white probably goes to the blue-white from the accessory fuse box. single female bullet connector. The other end of that blue-white wire probably terminates in the headlight bucket. with nothing connected to it. That would make the most sense to me as I don't see any other blue-white bullet connectors in the wiring diagram & the acc fuse box is near the battery .

1st pic. The 2 black-yellow that are next to each other probably should be connected to the black-yellow from the neg (-) battery terminal >>> double female bullet connector.

You should also check that there is a black-yellow wire going to the voltage regulator connector. The voltage regulator is usually bolted to the battery box.

1st pic. I'm guessing the messed up plastic connector is from the igniter & is the connector for the ignition coils. The other igniter connector is for the pulsing coil >>> the wiring should lead to the small RH engine cover

Here’s a better look at the wires I’m talking about.

Same as my previous reply.

blue-white >>> blue-white from acc fuse box

2 black-yellow >>> connect each one to the black-yellow double bullet from neg (-) battery terminal

notice how the black-yellow wires aren't exactly the same. They differ in the diagram as well. The other end of one of them probably terminates in the headlight bucket as an acc ground. with nothing connected to it. probably the one with the fat yellow stripes.
technically, one of them is probably yellow-black, since the yellow stripe is more prominent. It's still a ground wire, though.

Sorry martin_csr

white/blue
yellow/black
black/white, (it is not a second yellow/black colour)

The wider colour on the cable = (longer colour line in the wiring diagram) = get on first place
The slim colour on the cable = (shorter colour line in the wiring diagram) = get on second place
to differentiate between the same colour combinations.

So your blue-white is white/blue and black-yellow is yellow/black.

Thanks, Scirroco. Saying & writing them alphabetically is more natural to me. hee.
That black-white wire looked black-white to my eye, but he said black-yellow. sometimes it's hard to tell for sure in pics.
So, if it is black-white, then it probably goes to the black-white from the acc fuse box. But the wiring diagram doesn't show a bullet connector for it.

I know, colors can be fade out or dis-colored over the decades.
White goes gray, light blue or yellow or vice versa dependent of the main color or color mix
Our eyes can also mislead us over the decades.

Have you used the old or the "new" wiring harness?

In your last pic, is the bottom wire black-white or black yellow? Enquiring minds want to know.
You need to be certain, because if it's a black-white power wire, it would be a no-no to connect it to ground.
Whenever I'm not certain, I clean the wires with Liquid wrench silicone spray. it's handy for cleaning just about everything on the motorcycle.

The old wiring harnesses is hacked up. Meaning I removed all the wiring from the loom. The wires are still fine. I just didn’t want to rebuild it.
