KZ1100A2 Tachometer Bounce

It worked fine when I got the bike at the end of last summer. Since then I've done some gauge swapping around primarily to upgrade my 85 mph speedo to a 160 mph one. In the process, I mixed and matched from about 2 1/2 sets of gauges and I'm not sure if this tach is the one that was on it or if it was from another cluster I bought.
It occurred to me to put my other US spec tach on (has the 'Headlight" indicator) on but the rubber damper (92075-1315) that goes between the gauge and the bucket is gone. The one on the bike is there but is so rotted that it is stuck to the gauge and I'll have to destroy it to get it off. I still looks OK if I don't mess with it. The Damper seems to be Unobtanium so I'm stuck with the one on the bike.
Anyone know the fix for this? My search only found a few posts that were pretty old and no solution I could find.
Anyone know where I can find a set of dampers? It would be nice to freshen up those parts even if I can correct the issue without changing the gauge.

If it's any help, the cross-reference at Partzilla indicates that damper is also used on several other models:
KZ1000-J1/J2. KZ1000-K1/K2 Ltd. KZ1000-R1 ELR. KZ1100-A1/A2 Shaft. KZ1100-D1 Spectre.
note: the 83 meters are different. the partzilla x-ref can be confusing until you get used to it.

I'm thinking of making some sleeves out of delrin to slip over some silicon wrap....

I'll consider that, at least for the short term.martin_csr wrote: For homemade, I would consider high density foam weatherstripping from the hardware store. It comes in various widths & thicknesses.

I think those gauge meter dampers were made from extruded foam rubber, cut to length and bonded to form the ring. You may be able to fab a make-shift set from neoprene rubber to serve the purpose until a replacement set is found.

I was thinking of getting some delrin and turning it to a facsimile of the damper contours with just enough room to put a layer of silicon wrap under it.
