That had occurred to me is there a way to delete it?swest wrote: If you have a reserve lighting unit, I'd suspect that. Been known to have problems.

According to the supplier's website they are. I was thinking of sending an email to see if they could be any assistance.

I'll work up some jump wires and see what happens.

I'm thinking just jumping the b/y to b/or might work and free up a fused circuit.

I'm going to email the vendor and see if he has any insight. I'd still like to use the relays if I can to take the strain of the switch and put the light on it's own circuit.

The only parts i can find around hear are 40A 5 pin relays. That's why i ordered them in the first place. I wrote the vendor an email. I'll see what he says.
he has notices all over his site that he's closed down for the month but will reply to emails as he is able.

Anyway, after emailing Joe at Cycle Terminal for the past few days, he's been very helpful even though he's technically shut down this month with a move and inventory, etc.
I've concluded that reserve lighting system is responsible for the whole issue. Joe said he thinks the only way these relays would burn out is if there was a no load connection directly to ground. That to me sounds like something the reserve system would do.
I guess I'm going to order another pair of relays from him along with a headlight plug and socket I didn't notice he had before. I'll just have to wait until the end of the month before they're shipped. The only other source I can find is eastern beaver but it would take nearly as long unless I pay "EMS" shipping.
If I had no light at all I'd probably go the E beaver route.
