KZ1000P-9 Running Rough in Damp Weather

Hi Everyone.
My KZP is running great in dry conditions, but when it's damp outside, it runs as rough as hell (as if it's only firing on 2 pots). At the same time, the rev counter goes haywire?
I've checked all of the electrical connections, covered/taped what I can and waxed what I can't, but it's made no difference.
Has anyone else had a similar problem?
Wayne.

Hi Steve.
Yeah, I've changed the plug leads & caps. Done all the obvious stuff.
Not sure if it's shorting when it's damp, as it affects the rev counter & loses power?

Moisture is getting in somewhere. How about the battery cables. If one is sulfated, it could act like that.
