You would have to increase the carburetion and exhaust to go with it and I still don't see how it could possibly get a 40% increase in HP without some seriously aggressive mods along with it. It's possible, but not just with a bore kit.

I'm guessing that kind of gain would affect steetability, if that's a word.

That kind of performance increase costs serious bucks, as stated if they pull it off it will involve a lot more than just a big bore, hope they let you know what they are going to do, could be fun. As you mention, streetability is important.

He did mention it would cost $1,500-$2,000, depending on what needs to be done. Would I lose reliability with those type of modifications?

Does anyone on here have Vetter luggage for sale? I found a few ads on ebay that look reasonably priced. I'm getting by with leather saddle bags for now, but would really like the Vetter bags.
