Does anyone know if there are any links or videos on youtube that I can watch someone do it. I don't know wiring diagrams. I'm sorry. I don't want to be a pain in the a$$. I'm just stuck between a rock and a hard place. I don't know electrical like I should if I am getting into something like this. I also need to figure out how to put the air box back on. I wanted to put 4 cone filters and a 4 to 1 exhaust on it. Then I found out there's more to it that bolting on these things. I didn't know you have to do carb work to keep up with it. That makes since to me tho. But when it comes to electrical, I am pretty much lost. I never used a multimeter before. That's why I'm having a hard time here. But please bear with me. I will get the hang of it sooner or later and know what I'm doing next time.

Post up what meter you have, and we can tell you how to use it. But watch the video I posted, or check out some of the others on how to use a meter.

Thank you Motor Head and Patton. I just got off the phone with rcook52459. I think if things went right, we narrowed it down to either my battery is too far gone to send 12v to the coils or the igniter is shot. I am going to get the GM parts and attempt to build the other type set up. Thank everybody for all their help.

Well, I got her to spudder today. After 2 days on the battery charger I got some spark out of her. It has boiled down to just needing anew battery. Where do I find out what battery I need. My girl friend works at an auto part store and can get me a battery. I just don't know what cca or ca I need for it.

Try this website, it should be able to tell you what battery you'll need:

get the one with the most cranking amps you can afford.batteries are pretty much made in the same factories and companies buy enough of them where they put they're labels or even make them the color they want.if your girlfriend can't get you one.got mine on sale at bi-mart or even try walmart.

What's the part number of your battery? I will just go look for that one. I got it to spudder yesterday. But it didn't fully fire. I'm so close to getting her on the road.

I have to thank every one on here for all their help. Bikes are not exactly like a car. I started getting some spark yesterday but was very weak. Then late in the afternoon it spuddered. Well today I got her to fire and run. I took her around the block twice. I feel a little too tall for the bike. It has some noise in the front end. Sounded like a small exhaust leak but when I checked there was more of a knock. I'm hoping it is more of an adjustment than something that so gone. Like a spun bearing or a bent valve or something.

Okay. Here's a good question for you. I have spark on 1 cylinder only. The bike ran perfect for about 20 miles. Then after sitting for about an hour, I turned back and it ran like crap. You can feel and hear it when it fired on all 4. But then would loose a cylinder or 2. I was in town stuck in traffic and as I pulled in the clutch, it just died. So I've had it on the charger for a few days. I'm still only getting spark form only one spark plug wire. Is that most likely a battery or should I just part this thing out?
